I only read about one or two specific regions. The same stories are published about same properties in every issue Too much stress on being a .... member Sick of the forums and the lack of control on them No information about highbanking No information about hard rock mining No information about refining and assaying gold Where are the "Do-it-yourself" stories? How can I get my own claim? This information should be free My feedback is not responded to! Half the magazine is adds Little to no information about east coast prospecting Little to no information about prospecting in Canada No stories about starting your own (small scale) mining operation Where is the community forum? Lots of information out there, but it's spread everywhere I can't keep up with the legal issues Ask the editor section? No humor, no jokes No information on maintaining my equipment What do I do in the winter months? Where's the photo gallery? Lack of contests and prizes for best homemade equipment Never getting a response about an article or picture No information about chemicals No information about geology and how to study it No history of gold producting areas, regions, states How do I sell my gold? No info on dry washing Trouble shooting equipment problems Lost treasure stories Honest field tests Local and state clubs not associated with .... Understanding ores |

Offer a discount subscription to seniors 62+ years old No more "mining the miner"! Make your money with advertising, not by withholding "insider" knowledge take out meaningless dribble about non-mining issues that are editor's pet project not much info on eastern gold More collabrative web distirbution involving manufacturing, research, miners, clubs etc. Stealing coffee cups, geology, hydrology, tech details, how to plans, unbiased reveiws is it public, private, open for anyone, to members just exactly where is it. info can be rather vaque. what's MY incentive for joining your club? Stop having "where to go" articles, especially rumors 99% of property that is "available" is privately owned one way or another. I'm tired of chasing the guy that got directions off a website away. I'd make sure that the greenies knew that we were actually cleaning the environment with our labors. Way too many ads in current publications I'd try to bring all the prospecting groups together Something that has more information, compile and organized in a sensible fashion Magazines carry too much advertisement and not enough lessons or stories I would gather volunteer authors to write articles The always upbeat, falsely happy tone used to entice others to join locations listed by GPS positions Ease of access to referenced material magazines that come in plastic wrap so others don't wear it out before I get it. Gear it away from the high dollar miners and toward the average low dollar part-timer. stop the defending our rights after the fact and go on the offensive The need to have a membership in order to access information. Its selfish. It needs to be free. require names for negative comments instead of faceless cowards getting more people involved Sometimes information is harder to aquire than the actual gold we're seeking ease of abundant access at a fair price! |
